The Terrestrial Index

By Jean-Marc Lofficier

Book review by Jonathan Park

This book, which is the companion to The Programme Guide, covers the following subjects: Doctor Who on Earth, a who's who of actors, technicians and writers, and gives brief details of the stage plays, the radio programmes and the comic strips. The first section, Doctor Who on Earth, was good but it tended to drag on a little bit. The who's who was also good and very informative. The last section was brilliant. All the information was cram-packed into only 106 pages. You may think that is a lot, but if you had details of every comic strip in TV Comic, DWM, TV Action, Countdown and Death's Head, details on the missing twenty third season, details and full cast lists on the plays, the movies, the radio plays and the videos you would find that it is a rather small space. This book is a must for trivia people and anyone else interested in Doctor Who. I am looking forward to The Universal Databank very much indeed.
