Editorial

By Paul Scoones

Welcome to the first issue of Time Space Visualiser for 1988, the 25th year of Doctor Who. Regrettably the journal format of 1987 TSV issues proved to be too ambitious, and consequently I have been forced to cut it down to a more manageable size, changing it to a newsletter format in the process. Expect to see at least five, maybe more, issues this year. Unfortunately 1987 back issues are no longer available although more may be issued later in the year. Some pages of the newsletter are in the journal format because they were typed before TSV became a newsletter. No.5 comes out mid-March.

Reviews are needed of The Stones of Blood, The Androids of Tara, The Power of Kroll and The Armageddon Factor. Reviews of Target novels are also needed for the Book Review column. Next issue will also feature a Merchandise column, and readers can advertise free of charge in either 'For Sale' or 'Wanted to Buy'. The deadline is the first week in March.

TSVs in coming months will feature: The inside story on the Jon Pertwee Telecom ads, a complete guide to the screening dates of all episodes shown in New Zealand, reviews of Season 24, a look at both the Hinchcliffe and the JNT years, a profile of Malcolm Hulke, and much more. Not to mention a special something planned for November 1988...

An apology to Barbara Simon, an American fan who sent the tape of the Gerry Davis interview for omitting her name from the article in TSV 2.

Also apologies for the January 2nd Convention which cancelled at short notice. A replacement is planned for a later date. We'll keep you informed.
