Comments

The occasion of the thirtieth anniversary of the beginning of Doctor Who screenings on New Zealand television was marked with three articles examining the past, present and future of NZ television's treatment of the show. Phillip J Gray's article Why the Nimon Should be our Friends drew many favourable responses from readers for its solid defence of a much-maligned story. The article was later reprinted in Virgin Publishing's fanzine anthology, License Denied. The front and back cover artwork, both depicting Cybermen, unfortunately bore little relation to the contents of the issue, due to a lack of suitable artwork at the time. Tim Hill was again the issue's cover artist.
