One thing that I always observe upon viewing colourised stories is how much better the story's setting/location stands out, so it was with great anticipation that I waited to see this rebuilt Jon Pertwee classic. I was not disappointed - the clarity of the cleaned-up picture astonished me and met my high expectations.

BBC Video should be congratulated-on their prompt release of this reconstructed story. In my opinion it rates among the top ten Doctor Who releases.

The cover mustn't go without a mention. Seeing photos of it in various publications, I didn't expect such a wonderful purple background (in DWM it is printed as a light brown). It makes the video even more worthwhile!
