The first issue produced under the new, Auckland-based editorial team headed by Paul Scoones gave TSV a whole new look, including a cover logo that continues in use until TSV 71, with minor revisions. The other members of the editorial team were Chris Mander, Felicity Fletcher and Jon Preddle. Jon Preddle and Paul Scoones embarked on a series covering as much information as possible about stories that never made it to the screen. Entitled The Forgotten Tales, this series was a vastly expanded version of an article bearing the same name that had appeared in issues 2 and 3. Chris Mander presented the first of his three-part hilarious expose of the writings of Pip and Jane Baker, an article that proved to be a fond favourite with TSV readers. A May 1990 interview with Mark Strickson was another highlight; excerpts from this were published in DWM 227 in 1995.
