Comments

One of the leading items on the front page of this issue was the news that a group of fans in Christchurch had formed their own New Zealand Doctor Who Fan Club. The newly founded club had its own newsletter and its organisers were initially completely unaware of TSV's existence. Half of this issue was taken up with a major article on the history of Doctor Who transmissions in New Zealand, and a second article provided details of a series of unscreened television commercials filmed in NZ in 1987 featuring Jon Pertwee playing the Doctor, advertising Telecom's services.
